I-Beams: I-beams are used to repair bowing or leaning basement walls. Ibeams are installed vertically against the interior side of the basement wall and anchored to the floor, floor joists, and header above.

 

The beams brace the wall, transferring lateral soil pressure to the floor and upper structure. Often used with wall anchors to pull the wall back to its original position.
